WINTER SKIN CARE ROUTINE

As autumn sets in, the knitwear comes out and Pumpkin Spice Lattes become the flavour of the month; this signals the time to start our Winter Skin regime.

During the colder months many people get an uncomfortable dryness to the skin on their face; for some people it’s worse than just a general tight, dry feeling, it can result in flaking, cracking, even eczema. Now, we know that it’s barely autumn, let alone winter, but prevention is better than cure right?

As soon as you turn on the heating indoors, your skin starts to dry out. Read on for our winter skin care routine, so that your skin stays hydrated and healthy throughout the colder months.

As weather conditions change, so should your skin care routine. Most will find it best to use a moisturizer with oils such as primrose oil as this will create a protective layer on the skin that will lock in moisture better than a lotion. Also cleansers and toners should be alcohol free and include agents that will hydrate your skin such as glycerin and aloe vera.

A vitamin C serum will combat any free radicals and products rich in hyaluronic acid will boost skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Here is a skin routine save your skin this winter:

Morning routine:

After cleansing and toning, massage a few drops of Super C15 into your face, follow up with our Hydra Boost hyaluronic acid serum, then finish with our Collagen Renew Day Cream.

Evening routine:

After cleansing and toning, massage a few drops of Super C15 into your face, follow up with our Hydra Boost hyaluronic acid serum, then finish with our Collagen Renew Night Cream.

Weekly:

After cleansing and toning, massage a pea-sized amount of Brightening Enzyme Peel for 2-5 minutes, rince off then apply our Hydro Gel Mask and leave on for 30-40 minutes.

Follow up with a few drops of Super C15, then our Hydra Boost hyaluronic acid serum, and finish with either our Collagen Renew Day Cream or Night Cream (dependent on what time of the day you are doing this).
